Service
Carbon or ceramic film, cut and installed at your house in about two hours. Every window metered afterwards and the reading written on your invoice.
Film
Does the job properly. Blocks UV, cuts glare, never goes purple the way cheap dyed film does, and it does not interfere with your phone signal.
This is the right film for most cars, and it is what the $100 price covers.
Noticeably better at keeping heat out, which in Florida you feel in the back seats within about a minute. Costs more because the film costs us more.
Worth it if the car sits outside all day, or if there are children in the back.
It is the cheapest film on the market and it is why you see purple, bubbled windows all over Florida. It fails in this sun, usually inside two years, and then somebody has to pay to strip it off. That somebody should not be you.
How it goes
About 25 minutes out, so you are not standing at the window wondering.
The sticker inside your driver’s door tells us whether your car is legally a passenger car or a multipurpose vehicle. That decides how dark we are allowed to go at the back. We photograph it.
Most bad tint jobs are dirt, not skill. A single speck under the film is there forever, so the prep takes longer than you would expect.
Shaped to each window, fitted on the inside. About two hours for a full car.
We measure each one and write the number on your invoice, then fit the compliance label Florida requires inside the door jamb.
Together, before you pay. Anything not right gets fixed there and then.
Aftercare
The film is curing. Rolling a window down early is the single most common way a good install gets ruined, and it is not covered by anything.
They clear on their own as the moisture leaves. If anything is still there after a week, send us a photo.
Most blue glass cleaners contain it and it attacks the film. Plain water and a microfibre cloth is all the inside glass needs.
Text us a photo and we come back and fix it. No argument, no voucher for next time.
Questions
No, and anyone who says yes is handing you a ticket. Florida sets a legal minimum for how much light must get through, and it is different for the front windows and the back. We will go as dark as the law allows and not a shade further. The exact numbers are here.
It helps, and ceramic helps considerably more than carbon. It will not make a black car in a Florida car park feel cold. What you notice most is the back seats and the steering wheel.
No, but it helps. Dust is the enemy of a clean install, so a garage or a shaded driveway gives a better result than full sun and wind. If you have a garage we would rather work in it.
They sit on the inside of the glass, which is the side the film goes on. Removing old film badly is how those lines get torn. We take old film off with steam rather than scraping.
Good carbon or ceramic film should outlast your ownership of the car. The film carries a lifetime manufacturer warranty against bubbling, peeling and fading, and we guarantee our fitting for 24 months.
